The location is the definition of escapism, truly nestled into a cliff seated above impossible beach. Leave the world behind and wake up to the sight and sound of crystal blue water crashing onto boulders on the shore. The sun is brutal here so please apply sunblock every 30 minutes otherwise you will become larry the lobster. The room is comfortable despite the oppressive heat and humidity in Bali. Just a word of caution, it is a trek to get to the property and you will be completely soaked in sweat by the time you get to the hotel so just lose your shirt from the start. Amazing stay.

You need a moped to get around if that’s something you don’t really like, like me then be ready for some traffic. Beaches were insane but again a good drive to get to them. Malina seafood restaurant is also a must do and the views there will change your life.

Uluwatu have a great atmosphere.
Uluwatu have a great atmosphere. We liked also beautiful coffees and restaurants there. Padang Padang and Dreamland beach was really nice. Maybe we were not lucky to see the beauty of Suluban beach, but for us it is overrated if you do not surf.

Beautiful part of the world.
Beautiful part of the world. Relaxed, easy to get around and great food options. Carina's Spa was fantastic as was Spring. Single Fin is a must at sunset and the food options and cocktails were amazing. Yuki for an awesome Bento Box for lunch and Ashana for a really cheap, good quality dinner.

I stayed at Uluwatu for 2 weeks in 2 different hotels.
I stayed at Uluwatu for 2 weeks in 2 different hotels.
If I could plan my trip again, I would have moved around a bit more.
I stayed at Bingin beach for 7 nights, which with hindsight was far too long, 3 days would have been enough, unless you're a surfer.
Sal Secret was the second hotel and near to quite a few restaurants
We visited Uluwatu Temple, watch out for the monkeys!
We watched the Fire Dance at the Temple which was fantastic.
Uluwatu can be quite busy. Do research on Uluwatu and places of interest before you go.

The place is nice and my only concert is the Access to it. I would have like to go and visit the City, but having to go up 200 stairs +++ everytime and sweat my life, I was not comfortable with this portion of my Holiday.

Not a party place, better for couples or family.
Not a party place, better for couples or family.
Plenty of things to do but need to get transport to most. Has 2 good mini marts close by, (but no pavements). One of them sells alcohol.
Temple and fire show well worth a visit, book a ticket a few days ahead because often sold out.
Watch out for the monkeys, they’re quite aggressive and steal anything, even the glasses off your face and break them!
Beaches nice but very steep cliff to descend ascend, so beware!
The best pool villa we stayed in Bali. The staff were fantastic ensuring we were happy, they went above and beyond. My partner organised a birthday surprise for me in the room when I arrived and it was we perfect. The breakfast was also the best breakfast I had in Bali! The location may deter some but the free shuttle service ensured we could get to wherever we needed to be. They also offer scooters for hire at the hotel. We used the spa whilst we were there and it was amazing! I would recommend this property to anyone.
I had a one-room tent villa with private pool. It was as comfortable as any hotel room but even more spacious, had AC for when the weather got too warm, and was fantastic for a few days of mental unplugging and relaxation. The property overall is very well-maintained and designed, and it was great that amenities like bicycles were available for guest's use. Wayan, the manager, is an excellent host, super hospitable and warm and helpful with any questions or requests. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Bali!
I thought it was very good value for money. It's definitely a budget place so be mindful that it's not going to be a 5star hotel. The staff/family were friendly enough and the room was very large / bed was comfy. The mattress had a bedbug protector on it which was an added bonus for me. You got a little table overlooking a really pretty central garden.
The room was very clean with a big bed lots of storage.
GOJEK / GRAB 10 mins to KECAK fire dance at Uluwatu temple at sunset, 6pm. WOULD RECCOMEND!
Thank you!
Uluwatu Jungle Villa had a great location for seeing the sites around Uluwatu. Staying here was the last stop of my two weeks and Bali. The facilities were nice and clean with a lovely pool and lounge area, but the villa as a whole lacked the character and warmth of some of the smaller homestays I had booked with earlier in my trip. Uluwatu Jungle Villa is by all means a good stay, but I believe more authentic stays with helpful and kind families can be found for a lesser price.
The Balinese-style 7 houses for a two-person hotel seem like a green oasis. They are situated in a good location and easy to reach the centre of Uluwatu by foot (10 min walk) or a motorbike or a car. The closest beach where you can spend time near the ocean not so far but you can climb 100 steps down and up when you return. For me is easy but you just to know about it. To the other beach, you can go by car or motorbike but it's the usual way and the most common in Bali.
Oceanna Sunset Villa is amazing. We felt super safe. The place was only 3 minutes scooter ride to beaches and restaurants. The roads are a bit dark (Bali style) but we felt super safe and loved the wind blowing while riding after a good day in the sun! The villa is super clean, well designed and modern. Gede and his family are amazing and was always whiling to help. Exceeded all of our expectations. Do not hesitate to book it . You guys will see us back very soon!! 🙂
The hotel provides so many healing activities that give us new experience. We joined contrast therapy and hypnosis. The therapists are very friendly and helpful. We also love the quiteness, there were only a few rooms and there were not so many guest. The design of the hotel is also very raw, natural, and reflects the cultural history of Bali. We love the uluwatu area as well, it was not to crowded but very close to the beach and many restaurants and retails around.
The hotel is excellent in terms of
- Ambiance: spacious and ariry, many green trees around, nice bar with DJ music. Excellent view for the sunset from the bar and pool
- The room is very clean with 5 star quality linen.
- The restaurant offers wide range of choices for breakfast. The Balinese restaurant is highly recommended with good price and acceptable quality.
- There are many complementary activities for guests: yoga, ping pong, local drinks for sunset
Absolutely great place to stay. Its in a quiet place. The villa I stayed was great and clean. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Food was delicious not a big selection but everything I ate tasted great. I’m a backpack traveler and the hotel did my laundry for very cheap price. Also included a voucher each day for the Pandawa Beach and included a shuttle to and from the beach. This place exceeded my expectations in every way. I would go back.
Wira and all of the staff were exceptional hosts. They were very friendly and always willing to help or give suggestions. The villas, the pool, and the greenery were stunning. A little family of dogs lived around the property and were so cute and constantly made me smile. There were many delicious restaurants within walking distance or a short motorbike ride away. I will definitely return if/when I visit Bali again.
A beautiful family run business overlooking one of the nicest beaches in Bali! Oblong and his family are so helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible while giving great advice about good places to visit in Uluwatu. The room's are so comfortable and clean with unique outdoor bathrooms and the food is good especially the fried rice! Will definitely be back 🙌
The owner of the hotel is this amazing Portuguese couple who moved in Bali several years ago. The entire staff is kind and very helpful for any issue.
The breakfast is served on this nice terrace, beach front and with the possibility to refill the water bottle found in the room.
The location is perfect and it's just across the street to one of the most famous beach in Uluwatu, the Padang bay.
Such a beautiful little sanctuary, lush Balinese gardens and very sweet villas. The staff are all so sweet, and seem genuinely happy - you get the feeling they are treated like an extended part of the owners family? Anyway, it adds to the warm ambiance of the place. The property is very close to the beach, as well as a couple of fabulous restaurants.
BoHo Bingin Beach Bali was a relaxing space which is in a great location. It is an easy walk to Bingin beach to relax, surf or enjoy the Warung’s. With a Scooter it is easy to access Uluwatu and other key areas. The pool was clean and the staff made the experience thanks to their help and relaxed nature.
Amazing place from a lovely couple. Located in a beautiful and peaceful area of Uluwatu, the villa quickly feels like your Balinese home. It's got everything you need and there are lots of little touches that make your stay just that much better. Highly recommended!
Our favorite stay in Bali 👌 We felt so welcomed by the hosts, it's a quite environment with friendly people and surrounded by nature. 5 minutes walking to impossibles, 10 min to bingin w restaurants nearby and close from Uluwatu, Balangan and Dreamland.
Uluwatu is a quiet part 9f Bali. There are many small boutique hotels all around.
We had the chance to stay one of the best with 6 bungalows.
Owner is very tasteful on decorations and setting.
Delicious breakfast
Very beautiful view from the room (Very rare in Uluwatu) with access to the beach at low tide ! The staff is very nice and the room is comfortable and pleasant. Excellent hotel to stay if you are a surfer !
One of the most gorgeous properties and rooms I have stayed in. I have lived in bali for 2 years and stayed at countless places in Uluwatu and this is by far the best I’ve stayed in
The most gorgeous swimming pool with a view. You feel like you are in paradise. Also Uluwatu is just the most beautiful place in Bali. The white Beach and the cliffs are stunning.
